Our mercury is triple distilled, ACS grade. It is commonly used in gold amalgamation. This one half pound size comes packed in a double bottle.
Mercury (also quicksilver) is considered hazardous by skin absorption and inhalation of fumes. Mercury spills need to be cleaned up immediately. Small mercury spills can be treated with sulfur powder.
