This heavy stamped steel base with black enamel finish features an added steel plate on the back, which makes it about 20% heavier than regular stamped steel bases. The steel plate also facilitates a sturdier threading of the rod into the base.

The three foot long steel zinc plated support rod features a three inch long tightening rod to provide more torque when securing the rod to the base plate.
